Rain hid the Full Moon from view in VALLEJO, California. At morning twilight, the overcast lifted to reveal the waning Moon.SPIA was gifted a FREE night at Tall Trees RV Park. I walked from Tall Tree Park north from Vallejo towards Napa for 4 miles and back.
Kept walking South through Vallejo, stopping in sat DENNYS. Yesterday, enjoyed Brunch at Marie Callenders..at $20.00. Dennys breakfast was $3.00.Continued walking to the Soutg East of Vallejo to the Sacramento River a nd up river a couple miles toward the Martinez Bridges...then returned to SPIA and drove to BENECIA, California, where the Martinez Bridges cross the Sacramento River.
Parked SPIA at the beginning of the Bike / Pedestrian Lane on the Southbound I-780 Martinez Bridge, and walked the 3 miles into the town of MARTINEZ, California...and back to SPIA.

The Bike Path looked down on the TOYOTA RO RO (Rollon - Rolloff) Ship from JAPAN. It was unloading vehicles as I walked by.
On the Bridge Path, met other Walkers and a number of bicyclists...nearly all of whom I met two times, as they were using the bridge to cross over and return...just as I did,
Chairs conveniently placed at Center Span...for Senior Citizens ??
Aqua Blue paint looked good on the railings as I approached the Martinez Side...the white tanks are for oil storage.
These CAL TRANS workers explained to me that they were AGAIN replacing the Bridge Communication Electrical Wiring...which is a task repeated every couple weeks...BECAUSE: Someone STEALS the wires, a big problem in many Cities...the high price of Copper Wire is too tempting to resist by Thieves.
This Oil Tanker is transferring oil at the Martinez terminal.

Looking South over Martinez, California.Did not walk into tow as the Pacheco Highway - my walking route - did not go that far South. Instead, Pacheco Road headed East by South into Pacheco, Concord, and into WALNUT CREEK, California, where my friends Dick & Shannon live.
Walking back over the Martinez Bridge, walked for nearly three hours into Benecia, where I met FERMIN and his Partner Beaulio, who were cleaning up the Benecia Marina after the many weeks of rain.

Succeeded in receiving the telephone number of my WALNUT CREEK, California friends who live only 5 miles from Pacheco - where I finally received their number. Shannon answered the phone...with more than a little surprise. I was welcome to visit and just be chance, will also attend a Wednesday (March 23, 2011) mini reunion of our 2000 Millennium Round The World Cruise.
Verizon signal has not been avaiable at Dick & Shannon's home, so this update is delayed.
