RATTLESNAKES ANYONE

SUNRISE ON THE SNAKE RIVER

BOVINE AUDIENCE

Breakfast @ Wendy's then drove to BURLEY. parked & then walked 5 miles back toeards Hansen & back to the Van.

All OK so far. Drove again the 9 miles to Rupert, parked & walked back 5 miles toward Burley & returned to the car.

Don't know when, but upon returning, muscle behind left knee started to throb...must have strained it somehow.

So, walked only 20 miles today. Then, too, it is still blistering hot...well over 100 on the road. Weather is supposed to moderate within yhe next 48 hours.

Decided to take the rest of today off so as not to aggrevate the pull.. Now parked on the bank of the SNAKE river once again watching half a dozen boats playing on the river which at this point is a lake behind a small dam.

Across thye river begin the first foothills of the Rocky Mountains, The real big guys begin at Pocatello, which I should reach in two - three days.
