POST 1234; FEBRUARY 06, 2014; NEWPORT, OREGON

Decided to drive last afternoon to NEWPORT, Oregon...only 10 miles beyond DEPOT BAY...and good thing;

No suitable overnighting in DEPOT BAY.  Upon entering NEWPORT loomed the ever-welcome WAL-MART, where I was welcomed to stay over night at their 24 hour store.

This morning the wind is at least 45 miles per hour, it is at least "0" F. Wind Chill...

AND IT IS SNOWING A TRUE BLIZZARD...

with 48 hours of SNOW forecast.

Needless to say, HERE IS WHERE I SIT...until this storm is over and done with.

Thank you WAL-MART for the welcome warmth and food while I wait.
